Direct Cooperation with the Community
JUCCAS Wind also develops commercial wind farms in direct cooperation with the community to ensure that the local community as well as individuals of the local community interested in investing in the wind farm are also benefitting from the development.
JUCCAS Wind development in unique cooperation with Vestas
JUCCAS Wind works by developing the site and cooperates with Vestas on installing pre-owned refurbished wind turbines whereby it’s feasible to sell affordable power to corporate end users at long term fixed prices using PPA’s. As such, we work outside of the RESS subsidy schemes.
Benefits to the Community and Individuals
The local community can benefit by obtaining an up-front fee and/or a yearly fee from the wind farm as an ongoing benefit from the local production of green energy.
Individuals of the local community can be provided with the opportunity to invest in a limited part of the wind farm at cost price and will thereby obtain a proportionate part of the yearly power production. This opportunity depends on the specifics on the possible wind farm.
The local landowners will benefit by obtaining a yearly lease fee from leasing their land to the development of the wind farm.
JUCCAS Wind’s development of the wind farm and the cooperation with Vestas on the installation of the refurbished wind turbines is described in more detail under the solution Commercial Wind Farm.
