Refurbished Wind Turbines and Affordable Green Power
JUCCAS Wind develops commercial wind farms in Ireland. We work primarily by installing pre-owned refurbished wind turbines thereby making it feasible to sell affordable power to corporate end users at long term fixed prices using PPA’s. As such, we work outside of the RESS subsidy schemes.
The Development in Cooperation with Vestas
JUCCAS Wind develops the projects in a unique cooperation with Vestas which provides JUCCAS Wind with the pre-owned wind turbines and the complete refurbishment and installation hereof on site as well as 14 years’ service and availability.
Depending on the solution, the development consists primarily of obtaining the necessary building permission and grid connection from the authorities, negotiations with the landowners on the lease of land and Vestas on the acquisition of the refurbished wind turbine. Furthermore, financing of the project as well as the construction of foundation, substation, roadwork, as well as commissioning is major parts of the development.

Our Partners Green Grid
JUCCAS Wind has its own electricity broker company called Green Grid Limited which is responsible for the sale of any excess electricity from our projects onto the market.
